5 steps to saying good bye to the pacifier!

The big question, is the pacifier a soother or a simply a way to create a bad habit?

The pediatrician recommended having a going away party, so we tied the pacifiers to a bouquet of balloons and said good bye, that night we purchased a new pack.
Collect all the pacifiers and put just a tad bit of hot sauce on them to discourage using it, well my child had the puppy lick off the hot sauce.
Hide the pacifiers, the thought process was he would cry for a few hours and then fall asleep.
For closure we placed the pacifiers in a box, said a prayer and covered them with dirt. That night we purchased a new pack of pacifiers that caused a rash around his mouth.
Finally get your child to buy into banishing the pacifier by reasoning with them, make it their idea. It works wish I had tried the last step first.
