What happily ever after could look like!

I was at a function this week-end and I met one of the parents in my son’s academic group, immediately we had some common ground to carry on a long conversation. I’m not one of those people that can sit and have a conversation with a stranger, however I was perplexed at the ease in which we engaged in conversation. The next day I analyzed the situation and thought what life would look like if we dictated our own happily ever after.

The first and foremost thought that crossed my mind was it’s necessary to choose a partner that you can chill and have a conversation with about nothing and share everything. What could life look like if by design we dictated our surroundings, if we live be intention, actively involved in picking our friends based on the way we want to do life? What if we chose the people that directly impacted our lives and not allow our lives to be twisted by people that cannot shape our lives in a rather positive and meaningful manner? What would happily ever after look like? Would we live in the now?

To be continued.
