Consider adding a green smoothie drink to your daily meal regimen. My favorite green smoothie drink is made of 2 cups of baby spinach, ½ c of beets, ½ an apple, 2 tbsp. protein powder. Blend together to the consistency you desire. Another option for a green smoothie is 1.5 cups baby spinach, handful of kale, ½ cup of cabbage and 1cup of strawberries blend together enjoy.
Since I prepare every meal in advance, consider doubling the recipe and freeze the remainder in a cup with a lid to maintain freshness. Squeeze ½ a lemon into the smoothie if the intent is store a portion of your green smoothie for a later time. Great for your skin and overall health quality.
