Today I was talking to a young lady that joined the group about 3 years ago; financially she was challenged but had this drive and motivation to succeed. We really had nothing but odd and end jobs to keep her busy until we found a permanent spot for her. Let’s fast forward three years later she joined a different group and managed to work herself into a management position. She’s accomplished this goal by working hard, staying focused and remaining clear about her intentions in life.
Two things happened when she reached out to us for employment, one she took the risk by calling not knowing the outcome of the phone-call. She was in a desperate place for insurance and work in order to take care of her children. The other thing that happened is that by stepping out in faith together we empowered her to succeed regardless of where her future lies. Regardless of future employment or future adventures she’s armed with tools to help her succeed.
By empowering her to succeed, she manages to give back to other women by training them and bringing them up to new levels. When was the last time you extended a hand by empowering someone to achieve their dreams? Consider the possible outcome of being of service to help one person at a time which creates trickledown effect of helping others in need.
