What is your eating style, Dinner for eight!

What a week-end, somehow my sister’s and I get caught in helping my Mother with a dinner party she had planned weeks ago and it was decided that we would be of some assistance in helping her pulling off this dinner party for eight. Honestly not sure that I remember that last time they or I guess my family hosted a formal dinner party. My Dad gets aggravated with us because during holiday dinner’s we simply utilize paper plates and paper cups. Getting everyone to the table when such a big a family meets is sometimes impossible to coordinate.
When I was briefly told about the event that was to happen Saturday evening, my first thought was to run and never look back. But no, my baby sister insisted I should stop in for a minute to help out.
My assignment was to set the table, prepare the drinks and desserts. Desserts and drinks no problem, setting the table with fancy plates and glasses well that was going to be a challenge for sure.
Thank goodness for the world wide web, the first thing I did was acquired a crash course in what silverware and plate ware we were to use for this outing. What a trying evening but we pulled it off. So let’s talk about what it takes to have dinner for a party of eight.
